Equity

It is important that we in the 54th Assembly District receive the support and resources necessary for our families and children to succeed. From housing to transportation, we have systems that require additional support and action from our elected officials.

I will work to ensure we have Kings County Democratic Party Platform that represents all of Brooklyn.

Transparency

What is discussed in secret, behind closed door meetings, should be disclosed to everyone. Elected officials should not be making backroom deals. This type of behavior does not foster great relationships within the community.

I will work to ensure: party leaders’ do not abuse their positions, adhere to good governance practices, and increase transparency and accountability within the party.

I will also continue to work with members of the 54th Assembly District to ensure all important information is shared with the community timely.

Inclusion

We need to hold our Democratic leaders responsible for their actions. Too often community concerns are not taken seriously. Elected officials have a history of making decisions that do not benefit our community. As District Leader, I will ensure that our leaders are held accountable and our voices are heard. Our participation within the Democratic Party is important and valuable. I will fight to eliminate barriers that go against the core values of democracy.
